Big Walnut/DACC/FFA Alumni scrap metal drive this weekend

Big Walnut/DACC FFA Alumni members will hold their Third Annual FFA Alumni Scrap Drive at Big Walnut High School on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, scrap may be dropped off between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.; Sunday drop-off times are 12 noon until 5 p.m.
Roll off containers will be set up for collection at the south end of the high school. Any scrap metal or iron, large items or small, including appliances will be accepted. It’s a great way to recycle beverage cans, scrap aluminum, copper, insulated copper wire, brass, scrap steel and sheet iron, and at the same time support local FFA activities.
Items that will not be accepted are microwaves, dehumidifiers, TV’s and propane tanks.
All money raised during the Big Walnut FFA Alumni Scrap Drive will go towards Big Walnut/DACC FFA scholarships and member activities.
If you have any questions about scrap metals you would like to donate, email FFA Alumni president Brenda Piper at < piperspets@aol.com >, or call Piper at 740–815-5092.
