Anna Marie Link Daugherty

Anna Marie Link Daugh­erty, Rich­wood, passed away peace­fully on Thurs­day, May 24, 2012.

She was born on Feb­ru­ary 28, 1911, in Kingston Town­ship in Delaware County. Her par­ents were the late Frank and Elsie (Bar­ton) Link. Ann enjoyed her fam­ily and friends, loved gar­den­ing, quilt­ing, cro­chet­ing and mak­ing greet­ing cards. She was over a 50-year mem­ber of the Lewis Cen­ter United Methodist Church, a mem­ber of Delaware County Pio­neer Soci­ety and a for­mer mem­ber of Sun­bury Vil­lage Gar­den Club and Colum­bia Chap­ter No. 33 O.E.S.

Ann is sur­vived by her son, Philip (Patri­cia) Daugh­erty of St. Paul, Min­nesota; and by a daugh­ter, Susan (John) Oberdier with whom she made her home in Rich­wood. She loved her grand­chil­dren: Mea­gan Daugh­erty, Eva (Michael) Loche, Nathan (Jodi) Oberdier and Andrew (Sarah) Oberdier. Ann had five great-grandchildren: Christo­pher and MJ Locke, Kather­ine, Ezekiel and Daisy Oberdier. She is also sur­vived by a dear brother, James (Betty) Link of Kil­bourne, and many won­der­ful nieces and nephews.

Ann was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 53 years, Harry Daugh­erty, also by broth­ers Ray­mond, Ken­neth, Vinal and William Link as well as sis­ters Pearl Baker, Zella Terry, Lucile Welch and Char­lotte Pittman.

Ser­vices were entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Ohio 3 at 61, Sunbury.

Bur­ial took place on May 30 in Green Mound Cemetery.
