The number of business and organization tables at last Thursday evening’s Sunbury/Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce 14th Annual Chamber Community Expo was down over previous years; 85 tables were set up, but in some past years the high school gymnasiums were filled to capacity with 110 tables.
During the evening, representatives of businesses and organizations provided information aimed at increasing community awareness of the many programs, services, products and resources available in the Big Walnut community; and those in attendance received information about a variety of issues relating to health, fitness, nutrition, safety and wellness.
During this year’s Community Expo, Big Walnut Middle School band and choral students performed in the auxiliary gymnasium under the direction of middle school music teachers Chris Lawless and Amy Read.
Chamber Executive Director Cindy Hall said even though the number of tables was down, attendance at the annual chamber event was excellent.
