James E. ‘Jim’ Ball

James E. “Jim” Ball, 53, Marysville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday morning May 1, 2012, at Millcrest Nursing Home in Marysville.

He was born on December 26, 1958, to Eugene Ball of Sunbury and the late Marilu (Arrington) Ball. He was a 1977 graduate of Big Walnut High School and attended Genoa Baptist Church. He had lived in the Marysville area since 1995 and worked in assembly at Honda since 1989.

Jim loved his wife and daughter with all of his heart. He loved the Lord and was baptized in his parents backyard. Jim marched to the beat of his own drummer living for the present and not worrying about the future. Jim and his daughter went to cruise-ins around the area, at the Marysville Burger King, Earth Angel in Lancaster or any other place they were being held. He was proud of his 1972 and 1965 Chevy Novas and the work he had put into them. Another pastime was going to fairs with Jamie and working on his cars in his garage.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years: Yan (Liu) Ball, whom he were married July 2, 1989, in a backyard ceremony; daughter: Jamie Lee Ball at home; father: Eugene and Crystal Ball of Sunbury; brothers: Chris (Marcia Hieber) of Sunbury and Gene of Columbus.
