She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, George Jaeckel, and their three children, daughter Carolyn Schulman, son Mark Jaeckel (wife Kathy) and son James Jaeckel (wife Sharon). Tina grew up on a small farm near Sunbury, with seven brothers and three sisters. Tina was a member of the First Baptist Church of Los Altos for over 30 years. She was a “pink lady” volunteer at El Camino Hospital and also helped process applications to the Stanford Graduate School. She enjoyed playing tennis and golf. George and Tina were members of the Foothills Tennis and Swim club for 18 years.
Tina was devoted to her family. She was known as a loving, gentle and giving person. She will be remembered as one who was always cheerful and a friend to many.
A memorial service will be held at Spangler Mortuary, 399 South San Antonio, Los Altos, on Saturday, June 23, at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow.
