‘Summer Letterbox Adventure’ back for fifth year
“Summer Letterbox Adventure”, Preservation Parks of Delaware County’s award-winning family program, returns June 9 for a fifth season. Children who register for the program will take booklets into the parks to follow nature clues and find camouflaged boxes hidden in six of the Preservation Parks preserves.
Participants will have until August 12 to conduct their searches, on their own time. Children who complete the project will be entered in a drawing for prizes donated by area businesses.
Sign-up takes place at all Delaware County libraries at or after their Summer Reading Program Kickoff Events:

After the kick-off events, registration is ongoing at the libraries all summer.
In 2010, the Summer Letterbox Adventure won the award for Best Family Programming from the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association. This free program encourages families to spend time together, while exploring the various parks Delaware County has to offer. Parks are open from 8 a.m. to sunset daily.
