Sunbury Halter & Saddle 2012 officers

The Sunbury Halter & Saddle 4-H Club officers were installed in a new way. Advisor Cheri Bregel led the club in a “recipe for success” installation ceremony, where each new officer had an ingredient to a snack mix that they put together to make a tasty and nutritious snack, much like the officers will work together this year to make a fun and successful 4-H year.
This year’s officers are Nici Bregel President; Sydney Kuharik as Vice President; Evan Theirgartner will once again serve as club secretary; Treasurer is Alexandra Cardi; Aimee Dill was re-elected to the office of News Reporter; and Recreation will be led by Lauren Theirgartner. This year the club voted to have a Health and safety Committee. Members of that committee are Haley Savage, Rachel Russel, Joci Cardi, Kody Knapp, Gretchen Houser and Autumn Takatch.
The installation ceremony finished with the traditional candle lighting that has been the club’s tradition since its start nearly 60 years ago.
A fun show is scheduled for July. The fun show will conclude with an alumni/club potluck to celebrate the Club’s past 60 years.
Suzanne Allen has been a club member and now advisor since the club’s start. She has played a huge part in all activities and keeping the traditions alive.
