1st Thursday Book Club

Com­mu­nity Library invites you to the 1st Thurs­day Book Group on Thurs­day, August 2, from 7 to 8 p.m. The book for the August meet­ing is Trav­el­ing Light by Kat­rina Kit­tle. This is Ohio author Kittle’s debut novel. Sum­mer, the nar­ra­tor, is a 26-year-old Ohio school­teacher who must come to terms with joys and sor­rows in this won­der­fully mov­ing book on love in all its vari­a­tions. Kittle’s novel is hard to put down, and harder still to for­get. This book will be avail­able at the August meet­ing and through­out the month at Com­mu­nity Library.

The book for the Sep­tem­ber meet­ing is Bud­dha in the Attic by Julie Otsuka.

The group meets on the first Thurs­day of each month.
