Genoa’s National Night Out on August 7

The Genoa Township Police and Fire Departments invite all township residents to attend the Tuesday, August 7, National Night Out activities at McNamara Park.
National Night Out is a program designed to strengthen the community/police partnership, heighten crime awareness and generate support for Neighborhood Watch programs.
Genoa Township’s National Night Out program includes safety service exhibits, games for children, live music, demonstrations, food, child IDs and more.
All Genoa Township National Night Out activities will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at McNamara Park located behind the Fire and Police stations at 7049 Big Walnut Road.
Additional Genoa Township community activities for the month of August include Movie Night & Bring-Your-Own Picnic at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, August 11, at McNamara Park. The movie begins at dusk.
At 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, there will be a Canning & Freezing Clinic at the Genoa Township Hall, 5111 South Old 3C Highway, Westerville.
This year’s Get Behind the Badge Cruise-in will be held from 12 noon until 4 p.m. at Quaker Steak Polaris (Registration 9 a.m. to 12 noon).
The next Genoa Township Board of Trustees meeting will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, August 2, at the Genoa Township Hall.
The Genoa Township Citizens Police Advisory Board meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, in the Genoa Township Fire Department Training Room, 7049 Big Walnut Road, Galena, has been changed to Tuesday, August 21 at the same location and time.

The Genoa Township Administrative Offices are located at the Genoa Township Hall, 5111 South Old 3C Highway, Westerville, and are regularly open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
