Kountry Kids 4-H Club spruce up Hartford Fairgrounds

The Koun­try Kids 4-H club of Delaware County has recently par­tic­i­pated in one of its com­mu­nity ser­vice projects. The mem­bers of the club showed up at the Hart­ford Fair­grounds pre­pared to get their hands dirty and put their “green thumbs” to use.

With their gar­den­ing tools, the Koun­try Kids planted numer­ous flats of flow­ers to help refresh the fairground’s plant­ing beds and make them look pre­sentable. This fun out­door activ­ity seems to have become an annual event that all the mem­bers enjoy.

The Koun­try Kids 4-H club would like to give spe­cial thanks to Eddy Ambrose from Sambuca’s Ital­ian Green House for donat­ing a por­tion of the flats of flow­ers. Sambuca’s, located at 577 Wal­nut Street in Galena, pro­vided the club with great flow­ers to help make this project possible.
