Reardon announces Lady Eagles Soccer Camp dates July 23-27

It might be sum­mer, but it’s never too early to start think­ing about fall sports. In fact, sum­mer­time is the ideal time to attend sport camps hosted by coaches of the var­sity teams stu­dents will be play­ing for in the fall, or hope to play for in the years ahead.

That’s what the Big Wal­nut Lady Eagles Soc­cer camp is all about. Big Wal­nut High School head girls soc­cer coach Jim Rear­don is host­ing his Sec­ond Annual Girls Sum­mer Soc­cer Camp every evening from 5 until 8 p.m., Mon­day, July 23 through Fri­day, July 27.

The camp is for girls in grades 6 though 12 and will focus on fun­da­men­tal soc­cer skills and team­work on the field.

The cost of the camp is a mod­est $100.

Camp par­tic­i­pants will need a waiver signed by a par­ent or guardian. To down­load the waiver go to the Big Wal­nut Local School Dis­trict web­site at < bigwalnut.k12.oh.us >, click Extra-Curricular and on the drop-down menu click Ath­let­ics. Then click BWHS Girls Soc­cer Camp.

Bring the signed waiver form to the first night of camp, and make checks payable to BWHS Girls Soccer.

And remem­ber, it’s sum­mer. When camp’s over at the end of the day you don’t have to rush home to do homework.
