Gold Star director Todd Davis in Sunbury on Wednesday

Hal Hol­land, the owner of Eagle Small Busi­ness Solu­tions in Sun­bury and the new local Direc­tor of Gold Star, announced this week that Todd Davis, the National Direc­tor and Founder of Gold Star Refer­ral Club, will be in Sun­bury on Wednes­day, August 22, to speak to the local Gold Star chap­ter and help cel­e­brate their offi­cial launch.

Hol­land explained that Gold Star Refer­ral Clubs are a refer­ral mar­ket­ing orga­ni­za­tion. The pur­pose of Gold Star is to train and con­sult with busi­ness peo­ple that meet weekly to learn how to pass refer­rals and increase busi­ness. Once a new chap­ter reaches 15 mem­bers it holds a cel­e­bra­tion called the “Launch Party” sig­ni­fy­ing their offi­cial sta­tus within the Gold Star network.

Gold Star has been very suc­cess­ful in the Sunbury/Big Wal­nut area, reach­ing the 15-member bench­mark in a lit­tle over 60 days. The credit for our suc­cess is a direct result of our part­ner­ship with the Sunbury/Big Wal­nut Area Cham­ber of Com­merce. Cindy Hall, the Exec­u­tive Direc­tor, and the Board of Direc­tors of the Sunbury/Big Wal­nut Area Cham­ber, are very involved in the pro­mo­tion of local busi­nesses in the area and that has cre­ated a very active and vibrant busi­ness com­mu­nity here in Sun­bury. Gold Star is just another tool in the Chamber’s tool box to help mem­bers grow and pro­mote their busi­ness in Cen­tral Ohio.

Hol­land went on to say that Gold Star Refer­ral Clubs are a tremen­dous way to mar­ket your busi­ness and increase sales. A Gold Star meet­ing con­sists of qual­ity busi­ness peo­ple that meet over break­fast or lunch in order to build rela­tion­ships, increase busi­ness and exchange refer­rals. Gold Star Clubs gen­er­ate thou­sands of refer­rals and dol­lars for busi­nesses who want to grow and prosper.

Reg­u­lar Gold Star meet­ings are every Mon­day at 7:30 a.m. in Sun­bury Town Hall, except for holidays.
