Donating to a good cause this holiday season could land you a brand new car

The Andrews House is raffling off a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze as part of its annual Christmas Cupboard holiday fundraiser, to be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Andrew’s House, 39 W. Winter St.

Tickets for the raffle are $20 and only 1,500 will be sold.

As an added bonus, Andrew’s House will cover the raffle winner’s license and registration fees, as well as the taxes associated with the car. The winner will also be able to select the car’s color based on availability, said Milton Wyman, Andrew’s House board member and event chairman.

The car, which is being provided courtesy of the Chesrown Chevy Town on U.S. 23, will be on display at various area events prior to the day of the drawing, including at the Oct. 19 Buckeye Valley High School home football game.

All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the Andrews House, Delaware County’s multifaceted community services center.

The raffle drawing will be held immediately following the Christmas Cupboard, the Andrew House’s largest annual fundraiser. The Cupboard allows participants to fill a box full of cookies of their choice. The event also features a silent auction and additional raffle prize.

For more information, or to purchase a raffle ticket for the 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, call the Andrews House at 740–369-4520 or send an email to info@andrewshouse.org.
