General Rosecrans Department of the Ohio Headquarters Unit is once again holding three fall season dinner theaters in the Myers Inn Museum; and tickets are on sale now for the October 13, November 10 and December 8 performances.
The first, a Fall Harvest Dinner, is being held at 6 p.m., Saturday, October 13.
During the dinner performance, men and women from the Headquarters Unit in period costumes will meet guests at the door, and lead them into Major General William Starke Rosecrans’ headquarters.
The unique dining experience includes homemade period meals based on traditional holiday menus and recipes. October features roast pork, November traditional roast turkey and December is roasted Cornish hen, and all holiday trimmings will be included.
Following the meals, members of the Rosecrans Command Headquarters will provide dramatic skits based on some aspect of the Civil War, with time for questions from the audience.
In order to participate, tickets are required. Tickets are $35 each, with all profits from the three Dinner Theaters going towards the Major General William Starke Rosecrans Statue Fund.
