Warm Winter Knitting — Knit a Warm Winter Hat or Scarf
With inspiration from Ms. Denise Fleming’s book, The First Day of Winter, the Adult Programs Department and the knitters’ group is offering this hands-on class on knitting a hat or a scarf. We can get you started. Just bring some yarn and needles appropriate to your yarn and we will teach you the basic stitches to create a Warm Winter Knit.
The Tuesday Knitters meet every Tuesday evening so you can get added instruction and help as your project takes shape. The class starts on Tuesday, November 13 at 6:30 p.m. and is FREE. Please register for this special event.
And, the Mitten Tree for Friends who Share goes up in November, so you could chose to create a warm winter knit to add to the tree (Purchased knits are fine, too).
