Community Library Christmas Cookie Exchange

Plan now to attend. Community Library will hold it’s annual Christmas Cookie Exchange on Saturday, December 8, at 10 a.m. Bring three dozen of one kind of cookie and the recipe. Each participant will also receive a recipe booklet with all of the cookie recipes.

This is a nice break from the stressful Christmas season, and it is guaranteed to really get you in the holiday spirit — and away from the malls, the traffic and the hustle bustle of being Santa’s lil’ helper. This is a pleasant way for you to be able to set the table with a huge assortment of cookies without spending days baking several different recipes.

Do you have a special recipe that has been handed down in your family? Or did you see a recipe that you always wanted to try? Make a note on your recipe card.

You do not have to be present to participate. Just bring your cookies before 10 a.m. and we will do the rest. Remember — bring the recipe with your name and phone number written on it. You may also submit the recipe electronically to < nicema@oplin.org >.
