Mulch 1st brings back Treecycling for holiday season

Mulch 1st is proud to bring back its Treecy­cling Pro­gram this hol­i­day sea­son that will allow com­mu­nity mem­bers to receive a free 10-pound bag of Road Run­ner De-icer and coupon for a free bag of mulch when they bring their live tree in to Mulch 1st to have it recy­cled. Par­tic­i­pat­ing tree farms have passed out coupons with the sale of each tree and fliers are posted around the community.

Treecy­cling is the act of recy­cling your hol­i­day tree into mulch. When bring­ing your tree to Mulch 1st for treecy­cling, Mulch 1st asks that all trim­mings, lights, orna­ments and stands be removed from the tree, that the tree not be placed in any bag and that you make sure to stop in to the Mulch 1st show­room to redeem your Road Run­ner De-icer and coupon for mulch. Trees can be brought to Mulch 1st any­time after Decem­ber 25. For trees dropped off out­side of busi­ness hours an infor­ma­tion box will be setup so that cus­tomers can be con­tacted about receiv­ing their free gifts.

“This is a great way to ‘go green’ this hol­i­day sea­son,” said Mulch 1st owner, Scott Wag­ner. “We hope that the com­mu­nity takes advan­tage of this offer because it’s a great way to do some­thing pos­i­tive for the envi­ron­ment, not to men­tion get­ting a free gift in return!”

Mulch 1st is located in Sun­bury at 725 North Kint­ner Park­way in the Indus­trial Park­way. Oper­at­ing hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon­day through Fri­day dur­ing the win­ter months. Stop in to the show­room for great deals on all your win­ter needs!
