Mulch 1st brings back Treecycling for holiday season
Mulch 1st is proud to bring back its Treecycling Program this holiday season that will allow community members to receive a free 10-pound bag of Road Runner De-icer and coupon for a free bag of mulch when they bring their live tree in to Mulch 1st to have it recycled. Participating tree farms have passed out coupons with the sale of each tree and fliers are posted around the community.
Treecycling is the act of recycling your holiday tree into mulch. When bringing your tree to Mulch 1st for treecycling, Mulch 1st asks that all trimmings, lights, ornaments and stands be removed from the tree, that the tree not be placed in any bag and that you make sure to stop in to the Mulch 1st showroom to redeem your Road Runner De-icer and coupon for mulch. Trees can be brought to Mulch 1st anytime after December 25. For trees dropped off outside of business hours an information box will be setup so that customers can be contacted about receiving their free gifts.
“This is a great way to ‘go green’ this holiday season,” said Mulch 1st owner, Scott Wagner. “We hope that the community takes advantage of this offer because it’s a great way to do something positive for the environment, not to mention getting a free gift in return!”
Mulch 1st is located in Sunbury at 725 North Kintner Parkway in the Industrial Parkway. Operating hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday during the winter months. Stop in to the showroom for great deals on all your winter needs!
