VFW Post 8736, Combat Infantryman’s Association Dinner set every third Saturday

Mem­bers of Sunbury’s VFW Post 8736 have teamed up with the Com­bat Infantryman’s Asso­ci­a­tion to host a Monthly Steak Night Din­ner on Sat­ur­day, Jan­u­ary 19, and on every third Sat­ur­day after that.

Din­ner is any­time between 5 and 8 p.m., and the cost is a mod­est $12 per per­son for a Char-Broiled Steak, Veg­etable, Rolls and But­ter, Potato or Pirogue, and Dessert.

Funds raised dur­ing Monthly Steak Night Din­ners will be used for the Com­bat Infantryman’s Asso­ci­a­tion mis­sion of pro­vid­ing fel­low­ship for its mem­bers and finan­cial assis­tance to needy mil­i­tary families.

The CIB Asso­ci­a­tion is a national non-profit ser­vice orga­ni­za­tion com­prised of reg­u­lar mem­bers who have earned the U.S. Army Com­bat Infantry Badge by serv­ing as in infantry sol­dier in a com­bat zone and has been under fire.

VFW Post 8736 is located at 435 McGill Street in Sun­bury, adja­cent to the Sun­bury Skate Club.
