McClelland rolls BW’s first 300 game

Big Walnut’s Jon McClel­land enjoyed a per­fect Mon­day after­noon at Wayne Webb Lanes, stroking the first 300 game in school his­tory dur­ing the Golden Eagles’ match with Hilliard Bradley.

McClel­land, who also rolled a 260 to go with his per­fect game, fin­ished the out­ing with a com­bined 560 — a Big Wal­nut school record 2-game series.

The Golden Eagle boys, how­ever, were edged in the match as the Jaguars slipped past them by 21 pins, 2,028 to 2,007.

Big Walnut’s girls also came up short, los­ing to Bradley by a 1,509 to 1,399 score.
