McClelland rolls BW’s first 300 game
News Staff Reports
Big Walnut’s Jon McClelland enjoyed a perfect Monday afternoon at Wayne Webb Lanes, stroking the first 300 game in school history during the Golden Eagles’ match with Hilliard Bradley.
McClelland, who also rolled a 260 to go with his perfect game, finished the outing with a combined 560 — a Big Walnut school record 2-game series.
The Golden Eagle boys, however, were edged in the match as the Jaguars slipped past them by 21 pins, 2,028 to 2,007.
Big Walnut’s girls also came up short, losing to Bradley by a 1,509 to 1,399 score.
