VFW Combat Infantryman’s Association Dinner set for every third Saturday

Members of Sunbury’s VFW Post 8736 have teamed up with the Combat Infantryman’s Association to host a Monthly Steak Night Dinner on Saturday, January 19, and on every third Saturday after that.
Dinner is anytime between 5 and 8 p.m., and the cost is a modest $12 per person for a Char-Broiled Steak, Vegetable, Rolls and Butter, Potato or Pirogue, and Dessert.
Funds raised during Monthly Steak Night Dinners will be used for the Combat Infantryman’s Association mission of providing fellowship for its members and financial assistance to needy military families.
The CIB Association is a national non-profit service organization comprised of regular members who have earned the U.S. Army Combat Infantry Badge by serving as in infantry soldier in a combat zone and has been under fire.
VFW Post 8736 is located at 435 McGill Street in Sunbury, adjacent to the Sunbury Skate Club.
