BW Mock Trial Team win trials, qualify to Regional competition
The Big Walnut Mock Trial competed in the OCLRE Mock Trial District competition held Friday (Feb. 1) in Delaware.
The Big Walnut team won both trials they competed in. In doing so, they qualified for the Regional Competition on February 22.
Team members are Jesse Rines, Lindsey Adams, Katie von Hollen, Zach Moore, Mackenzie Pike, Cali Ford, Ali Berger and Olivia Daggett. Zach Walker served as team coach and Mike Delaney as Team Advisor.
Four members of the Big Walnut team were singled out for special award recognition. Rines and Daggett were chosen as Outstanding Attorneys and Berger and von Hollen were chosen as Outstanding Witnesses.
