Giammarco’s is one of the finer restaurants in Central Ohio, and a destination place to dine in the upper Westerville, Genoa Township area. As an area businessman, Giammarco’s owner Tom Bernardo received the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Year award in 2012.
Bernardo and his family attended last Thursday (March 7) evening’s Genoa Township Board of Trustees meeting where Bernardo was recognized not only for receiving the Westerville Chamber of Commerce award, but also for operating a Genoa Township anchor business.
Giammarco’s has been a Genoa Township business for many years, but with a host of community support successfully relocated to its current 6030 Chandler’s Court location two years ago.
“Giammarco’s is more than just a place to eat, it’s a place for families and friends to congregate and build a lifetime of special memories,” said trustee Rick Carfagna. “I’m grateful to Tom and his family for their vision and effort in creating such a quality establishment in our community.”
Trustee Karl Gebhardt said he and the other trustees thank Bernardo for his investment in Genoa Township, and operating a business that’s becoming an important township landmark.
“Your business has really helped identify Genoa Township,” Gebhardt said.
