Each year members of the Sunbury/Big Walnut Area Chamber of Commerce and the Big Walnut Local School District join forces to host the Annual Chamber Community Expo. In its 16th year, the Chamber Expo will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight (Thursday, April 24) in the Big Walnut High School Gymnasiums.

The event is open to all residents of the Big Walnut community, and best of all admission is free.

Browse among more than 100 tables providing information aimed at increasing community awareness of the many outstanding programs, services, products and resources available locally in the Big Walnut community. On hand will be the best of Big Walnut area arts and culture organizations, community services, government, schools and continuing education, and area clubs as well as other organizations.

Many local community service organizations will also distribute information and answer questions; and thanks to the cooperative efforts of local health care providers, basic health screenings will be available. Most screenings are free or given for a nominal fee.

Highlights of the evening will be student displays, along with instrumental and vocal music performances by Big Walnut students, and Taekwondo and dance demonstrations by local businesses in the auxiliary gym.

Sponsors of the 2014 Chamber Community Expo are Accelerated Physical Therapy, Anthem Blue Cross Chamber, CenturyLink, Centerburg Pointe, Council for Older Adults, Country View of Sunbury, Delaware-Morrow Mental Health & Recovery Services Board, Forman Mini-Storage, Forman Realtors, Immediate Urgent Care at Sunbury, NorthStar Golf Club, Renick Orthodontics, State Farm - Jessica Forman insurance Agency, Sunbury Chiropractic Center, Vision Concept Technology and Westar OB/GYN.
