BW seniors claim fourth straight girls title at ‘Red’ Edwards Relays

The Big Wal­nut Class of 2012 accom­plished some­thing no other Golden Eagles’ girls track team has achieved since 1984 — win­ning four straight Big Wal­nut “Red” Edwards Golden Eagle Relay championships.

Curves of Sunbury donates food to BWFWS

Curves of Sunbury collected 1,700 pounds of food and household items for Big Walnut Friends Who Share during the Annual Curves Food Drive to benefit local food banks. Each year for the past 10 years, Curves of Sun­bury has offered local res­i­dents the oppor­tu­nity to con­tribute food and other house­hold items to the Big Wal­nut Friends Who Share Food Pantry. Dur­ing the month of March, Curves of Sun­bury par­tic­i­pates in the Annual Curves Food Drive to ben­e­fit local food banks.

Genoa Town­ship Police Depart­ment Offi­cer Jason Berner was in cham­bers with his part­ner Bru­tus dur­ing last Thursday’s Genoa Town­ship Board of Trustees meet­ing. Berner and Bru­tus, Genoa’s K-9 offi­cer, have been part­ners for eight years.
