Library joins search for Bigfoot

He will also show a video he took in 1997 of a possible Sasquatch from east central Ohio. Mr. DeWerth is involved with groups like the BFRO (Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization), and the Ohio Bigfoot Organization.

Children’s Christian education program set to resume at SUMC

Sunbury United Methodist Church will kick off its 2014/15 Sunday school program during a special event 9:45 p.m. on Aug. 24, during which children will participate in games and activities and meet their Sunday School teachers for the new year. Classes start Sept. 7.

Sunday school classes are for 3 year olds (toiled-trained) through 6th grade and meet every Sunday at 9:45 a.m. through May while parents worship. Kids spend time with their friends and learn lessons through stories, games, crafts, art, food, fun, music and much more. Each class has a designated room that children go to each week with teachers and volunteers who give a lesson that is prepared for them. The church offers Internet Bible studies and games for the 5th and 6th grade class known as God’s Messengers. While being strictly monitored, these students will learn safe places to visit on the Internet that will give them access to Bible scripture, Bible games and trivia as well as inspirational apps they may wish to add to their high tech toys.

Classes do not meet whenever there is a 5th Sunday in the month, as children are encouraged to enjoy worship with their families.

For more information about the ministry fair, contact the church office at 740-965-3813 or visit the church website at www.sunburyumc.org.
