Many people have experienced the death of a loved one, whether a spouse, parent, sibling, extended relative or friend. Whatever the relationship or the depth of the relationship, loss stirs up a range of emotions.
The various facets in this grief process can become overwhelming. What does one do with this emotion? Where does one start? Who does one turn to?
GRIEF SHARE, a Christ-centered group focused on hope and understanding, will meet weekly from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays at Vineyard Church of Delaware County, 1001 W Cherry St., to offer understanding to the many facets on this journey of grief. It’s a place where survivors can identify with others and their pain, while gaining understanding, wisdom, and hope during a time that feels confusing and hopeless.
The next session begins Aug. 7 and will meet Thursdays for 14 weeks.
Included in the evening is a weekly DVD session, discussion, prayer, a guidebook ($15) with an outline to the DVD session and guiding questions to pray and ponder over during the week. For more information or to register, call Vineyard Church of Delaware County at 740-965-8888. Childcare not provided.
