Big Walnut area Easter Egg Hunts

On Saturday, April 12, members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3614 will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunbury Village Square, followed by drawings for a variety of bicycles. To win a bike, participants must sign up immediately before the Easter Egg Hunt. Bicycle sign up is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and the hunt begins promptly at 12 noon.

Members of Sunbury Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8736 will hold their Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19, at the Big Walnut High School Football Stadium. There will also be drawings for bicycles, trikes, hot wheels and wagons. Registration begins at 11 a.m., the Easter Egg Hunt begins at 1 p.m. Post 8736 Ladies Auxiliary will hold a bake sale starting at 11.

Sunbury United Methodist Church (SUMC) is hosting its 10th Annual Community Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 12. The event is free and open to the entire community. Activities begin at 10 a.m., including games, prizes, crafts, refreshments and a complimentary picture with the Easter Bunny. Enter the church through the upper main entrance to register for the Easter Egg Hunt by 10:55 a.m. The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11 a.m.

Genoa Township’s Easter Egg Hunt will also be held on Saturday, April 12, at Westerville Central High School. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. and the Easter the Egg Hunt will begin promptly at 11 a.m.

The Village of Galena Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 19, at Ruffner Park.
