Big Walnut sophomore Isaac Lucas posted a career-best high jump, clearing 6 feet, 4 inches at the Saturday, February 8, Indoor Track Meet at The Ohio State University.

“Isaac had an amazing performance Saturday at Ohio State,” Golden Eagle jumps coach Mike Ryder reported. “He broke his career best by 4 inches, an effort that put him in the top five in the Division I Indoor high jump rankings.”

Last year as a freshman Lucas qualified with Golden Eagle teammate Cole Stark to the State Indoor Meet with a 6-foot jump … he’s a definite qualifier to the State in 2014.”
