How would you like to have a one in 100 chance of winning a great prize; and in the process know that your dollars, win or lose, go to a worthy cause? If that appeals to you, Big Walnut/DACC FFA Alumni are holding another 100-ticket raffle to raise money for Big Walnut FFA activities.
Only 100 of the raffle’s $10 tickets will be sold, and the lucky winner will receive a 16 Gigabyte iPad Mini, but time is running out. During last Saturday’s Big Walnut FFA Banquet alumni president Brenda Piper announced that there were fewer than 20 tickets left, and the drawing would be held after the last ticket is sold.
For more information or to purchase tickets email Brenda Piper at < firstname.lastname@example.org >, or call Piper at 740-815-5092; or email Big Walnut High School Ag Science teacher and FFA Advisor Jeni Reely at < email@example.com >.
Founded in 1928, the FFA organization represents a large diversity of over 300 careers in the food, fiber and natural resources industry; and more than 23,000 young people in Ohio’s 305 FFA chapters are involved in agricultural education and FFA annually.
Members of FFA Alumni Chapters, like the Big Walnut/DACC FFA Alumni, hold fundraisers for FFA scholarships and member activities, and serve as mentors for local FFA chapter members.
