If you’re looking for something different to do tonight Big Walnut High School students will take the high school auditorium stage at 7:30 p.m. to show off their talents in the high school’s Spring Variety Show. The annual event features a broad variety of talents. Many of the participating students showcase their own original works, while others perform their own take on current and classic numbers.

“This is a great chance for students to showcase their talents,” said the variety show’s advisor Christina McDonough. “There are close to 30 acts this year, bigger than it has been in the recent past. In fact, so many acts auditioned that we’re not going to have an intermission so we can include more student acts and keep time down.

“This has come to be an annual event at the high school and students look forward to it every year, and this year roughly 40 to 50 students are involved,” McDonough added. “We invite the community to come out for an evening of entertainment to see what our students have to offer.”

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Thursday, April 10) in the Big Walnut High School Auditorium. There will be a modest $3 admission fee at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Big Walnut High School Renaissance Program.
