Lynn Tullos went on a mission last summer in Peru. She stayed and worked at New Hope Children’s Home in Arequipa. She’s at home now, but intends to return to Peru and New Hope this coming summer, but first she has to fulfill another mission — raising funds to take with her to New Hope.

To raise funds Tullos is holding a Light Up The Night 5K Run/Walk tomorrow evening (Friday, June 13) with registration and the race start and finish line at Sunbury Village Square.

There will be first and second place awards for men 25 and under and 26 and older; and first and second place awards for women 25 and under and 26 and older.

The cost is $30 for an individual; register in teams of five or more and the cost is $26 per person. The registration fee for children from ages 6 to 13 is $10; children ages 5 and under are free.

Registration for walk-ons begins at 7 p.m.; the race begins at 8 p.m.

Online registration and additional information about New Hope Children’s Home is available at < runningformissions.weebly.com >.
