Big Walnut High School’s Competition Cheerleading Team won the Arnold Classic on Saturday, and also came away with the Grand Champion Trophy. “This is a repeat of last year’s season when we won the same at the Arnold competition, and we are undefeated this year,” said Big Walnut High School Cheerleading Coach Sarah Kern-Kildow. “It’s been an amazing year. Our squad has so much heart and dedication. They are hardworking athletes and always striving for success. Our parent support is to be commended as well. Way to go ladies, the coaching staff is so proud to work with all of you.” Kern-Kildow said the OASSA State Cheerleading Competition was postponed on Sunday due to weather. That will be the team’s final competition of the season, once the new date is established.
